Miriam McCallum

Miriam has been developing leaders and managers within major international blue chip organisations for over 15 years. Having spent time herself as a senior manager on an executive team, Miriam has worked with boards of directors, senior managers as well as first line managers as an Executive Coach, Trainer and Consultant. She specialises in Leadership and Management Development, Conflict Resolution, and Emotional Intelligience. At the heart of Miriam.s work is her genuine passion for extraordinary human potential. She is committed to working with others to enable them to discover their own unique strengths and abilities. Her style is dynamic, her energy is warm and her true passion for success is infectious.

She is a Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP, a member of the NLP University (NLPU) Global Training Community, an Affiliate of NLPU, a Certified NLP Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation. She is also accredited to administer a range of psychometric tests, including the Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) and the Leadership Styles Inventory (LSI) by the Hay Group.

Miriam is currently completing her MSc in Organisational Psychology with Birkbeck College, University of London.

David Knowles-Leak

David has a background in general management and sales at director level with International market leaders. He also led a management buy out of a glass processing group and developed a worldwide glass sales agency, also opening up an export channel for glass from Russia and the old Soviet dependencies.

As MD of Glasexco he was responsible for the sales and distribution of flat glass products from a consortium of the major French, Belgian and German flat glass manufacturers. Following investments in Europe by the America.s leading glass company PPG, he became European Sale Director.

He spent his early career in sales and marketing at Air Products, the industrial gas producer, eventually becoming General Manager.

David also acts as a consultant in the paper, venture capital, IT and transport industries, he graduated from Nottingham University, where he was President of the Union, in 1971 with a degree in Theoretical Mechanics.

Michael Leach

With over 30 years experience in gas and oil businesses, Michael brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, projects, and human resource management to LMI-UK.

Originally trained as an engineer with British Gas before moving into sales roles with BG and then subsequently with BP Oil and BP International. As part of the UK BP asset, Michael achieved great sales success within the general aviation market for Air BP and gained significant market share and long term supply contracts.

More recently Michael held a variety of human resources roles within the corporate centre of BP at group level, and during this time worked closely with BP executives on people development strategies for the group functions. A key element of this role was the delivery of leadership programmes and competence development.

Michael has a passion for working with people to enable them to maximise their abilities, and has enjoyed great success working with individuals and teams to develop solutions to business issues and problems.

With a degree in business and a post graduate diploma in Management, as well as significant experience in a wide number of disciplines with large blue chip companies Michael is keen to utilise these attributes to help develop management and leadership at all levels in organisations.

Roger Waplington

Roger was a Director with British Gas plc playing an active role in strategic development. He was also Director of Logistics and Human Resource Management in British Gas Energy Centres Ltd and Non-Executive Chairman of Cheltenham Renovators Ltd and acts as a consultant for Business Strategy, Business Development, Change Management, People Development and Customer Service.

Roger is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Diploma in Management Studies.
