David Knowles-Leak
David has a background in general management and sales at director level
with International market leaders. He also led a management buy out of a
glass processing group and developed a worldwide glass sales agency, also
opening up an export channel for glass from Russia and the old Soviet dependencies.
As MD of Glasexco he was responsible for the sales and distribution of flat
glass products from a consortium of the major French, Belgian and German
flat glass manufacturers. Following investments in Europe by the America.s
leading glass company PPG, he became European Sale Director.
He spent his early career in sales and marketing at Air Products, the industrial
gas producer, eventually becoming General Manager.
David also acts as a consultant in the paper, venture capital, IT and transport
industries, he graduated from Nottingham University, where he was President
of the Union, in 1971 with a degree in Theoretical Mechanics.
