"A year or so ago, Celtic identified that a small number of its senior
managers had specific learning and development needs that were more likely
to benefit from an individual, tailored, coaching approach rather than a more
generic public course.
I had already been speaking to Neale
Carter for some months before this about an LMI one-to-one leadership
coaching solutions. These seemed well-suited to addressing our requirements.
On a pilot basis, Neale therefore put together comprehensive, cost-effective
programmes for two line-managers here. We are part-way through these programmes
and both individuals are finding the techniques they are learning extremely
useful. I have every confidence that both the individuals and the Company
will benefit from Neale's support going forward.
In 2006 Celtic embarked upon the journey to becoming an Investors in People
organisation, ultimately gaining formal IiP recognition in December 2007.
The assessor was hugely complimentary about the LMI programme, which I'm sure
was a significant factor in earning Celtic the prestigious IiP award."
